Strange that i didn't know Apolo even existed until Italy...now i can't get enough of him.. i read and watch all the videos i can online about him..he has rocked my world.. and he is so way Hot... love to meet him..he is such a gracious and NICE guy...he makes me smile...wow..

Apolo has inspired me sooo much. everyday when waterpolo or swim team gets hard and i want to Quit i think "what would Apolo do?" and then i stick with it. i love apolo sooo much. (hes a hottie)

I saw Apolo skate in Salt Lake. We live only three hours away and were lucky enough to get tickets to the event. I didn't even know what the event was at the time or who Apolo was... but ever since that day I have been a huge fan!

I saw him skate in the 2006 Torino olympics and since then i've been hooked. He is down to earth determined and strong mentally, physically, and emotionally. I can only hope to be half as great as him. It doesn't hurt that his unbeleavably hot either. Apolo is my true role model and hero.

In the past, the winter Olympics didn't appeal much to me and I always looked forward to the summer Olympics. One night, during the 2006 Torino Olympics, I was somewhat irritated that I was missing my regular programs on Channel 39 (San Diego, CA) due to Short Track Speed Skating coverage. I was about to click the remote, when Apolo entered the rink in anticipation of the race. His "aura" was so compelling that I was captivated from that moment on.
Why I am a fan: Being cautious in judgment, I continued to observe both his athletic and personal characteristics throughout the 2006 Olympics. I was intrigued and delighted in terms of his perseverance, self-discipline, and true sportsmanship.
What inspires me about Apolo: His unique personality is extremely uplifting, and you can "feel" his radiance. Apolo doesn't sport an ego, nor does he need one. His confidence, focus, and strategy pave the way for him, as he steps up higher. A true gentleman.

My story..there really isn't a story. It all start when I was watching the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. I was kinda "in love" (or lust as some would call it) with Apolo Anton Ohno. It's werid because I know there are hundreds of thousands of girls out there that are just like me, but whatever right? Can't change a thing about anyone. Well I would really love to meet Apolo one day, but I highly doubt that will happy. :( But I wont give up my dreams. I have fallen IN LOVE with speed skating! IT IS SOO MUCH FUN! Now I can see why Apolo LOVES IT! I would really like to get into competitive speed skating once I get out of high school and move away. BUT ANWAYS!....I HEART APOLO! He is the greatest! *plus he is THE hottness*

it's pretty sad that most of my friends don't even know about Apolo and that I'm a huge fan.I have been a fan since 2002 and I don't think it's ending soon .he is the only reason I want to go to Vancover in 2010.If he dosen't go I'll bo sooo sad .he is the only person that I would really want to meet for these reasons he is super hot, he has the hottest smile ever and, he really nice person.

I became an apolo fan when i first saw him on my brother's Sport's Illustrated magazine. I saw his pic, and i knew right away he was a winner! :D Anyways, so when the olympics came on,(Salt Lake) I saw him and cheered! YAY APOLO! And of cousre i watched Apolo in Torino. 8-).

Well, it started in 2002. I have always been a fan of the olympics, mainly for Ice skating, Ski Jump ect. Well one night, I was watching the olympics, and short track was on, it looked interesting and then I saw Apolo. I had to watch! From that moment on, I was in love with Short Track and Apolo.

hello Im from El Salvador Im 18 years old Since the presentation in the winter games of torino they left me openmouthed. I had never seen a person skate in that way. I am in the selection of skating of my country, pitifully the sport in my country is not very well supported as in yours allow me to tell you that you are an example to continue in the skating. It would be for my honor knowing him and to know about him.

i didnt even know who apolo was until i saw him in italy 2006!but now i cant stop thinking about him, i mean i cant get him off my mind! its insane! i dont think i could love him any more if i tryed! hes the cutest guy ive ever layed eyes on!!!and i mean that!

I don't really know how I became a fan of Apolo. I think I saw him on one of the olympic channels for speedskating and I thought he was kind of cute. And I became a fan of his. Ever since i saw speedskating on tv and him in a race iwas fasinatied by the sport. And that is how i became a fan of Apolo.

well i was watching the Eurosports on tv and then there was a guy's voice expressing to the interviewer how he felt about Olympics.Iwas impressed by the way he's expressing and telling it to the media....i waited for Eurosports to show his name but i could only manage to remember his first and last name...so i went down to Google to search for him and voila! Well, it started back in 2002. I knew of him...hardly...just his name. I was a person who found that motivation and inspiration was a bit hard to find. (For me) I never really had a person that inspired me to the bone. I was watching TV, There was Apolo skating away on Ice in Salt Lake's Winter Olympics...here I am New Mexico...it's like "just over the hill" and thought WOW! Now! This is a person with his head on straight. For me just watching him I could see he was determine, focus, motivated and very serious. I felt that I could learn something from a person so dedicated. I read his wise responses to questions, his short bio, and reviewed speed skating tapes. I began to actually put myself in to my "Zone" and applied it t my many daily and life term goals. So far, I have made major improvements :) to this day I still don't know many things of him but! I know he is a person who is dedicated mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually as well. He deserves much greatness for all he has sacrificed and his dedication. I've never had the chance to met Mr. Ohno But! If I do ...I think it would be a simple met & greet! And a Thank You as well. I am happy and I tend to think now I could go a few racing laps with Apolo...LOL! Given that I have grown in strength physically. :) I also had the chance to view him in Turin Italy! And it was phenomenal! He also says that he is blessed and he doesn't know why... I think it is because the many people Apolo & Yuki have inspired in their own particular path along with the "Greater- People". Their blessings, hope, faith, belief and prayers for such a person who's bloodline comes from a very powerful, spiritual and ancient ground. Many thanks! Much support! With Much Annoying Respect! There is just that something that i love about Apolo. I think that it is that I would love to go to the olympics!. And I love speedskating and Figure skating and I look at Apolo and think how lucky he must be to have gone to the olympics twice and Have stto up on that podeum FIVE times!. That is just so TOTALLY awesome. Apolo is one big rule model to the world. He is also a huge one to me!

I'm a lot younger than Apolo(a decadeand almost a year-ish, whatever, that's not important), and I watched him with my brother at the 2002 Olympics. My brother was in love with him. ("OH MY GOSH-GO OHNO!") And I'm like. Yeah sure. But then I started to read about him and stuff and I started admiring him. I don't love him like "OMG Apolo, MARRY ME! LOVE ME! HOLD ME!" etc. Since I'm Asian-American too, I really look up to him.

was a freshman in college in 2002 when I gathered with random strangers from my dorm building to watch the Olympics on the big screen TV in the lobby. Playing pool as the first speed skating race came on, I saw Apolo. First thought, "He's sort of cute." Second thought, "What an awesome race!" Third thought, "Oh, he's really cute when the helmet comes off." I'd be lying if I said his looks weren't a factor in my "fandom", because they help certainly, but he had talent on the ice (and dance floor) so that's a major factor. He's one of the "celebrities" you could be friends with; hanging out at backyard party, 12AM, shooting the s**t.

i have liked apolo since 2002 and have become a bigger fan over the years. my friends and i were going to the movies and the name of ur theatre is the Apollo. i was like "OMG!!! i never knew our theatre was spelled with two l's! i thought it was spelled with one l jsut like apolo ohno" and they were like "Duh! of course it's spelled with 2 l's. where have u been? u need to get ur head out of the gutte rand stop thinking about him." neway i felt so stupid after that because i have lived there my whole life and never knew how to spell the name of the movie theatre.

Well i started liking Apolo after i saw hin on DWTS.I thought he was hot,a good dancer,and nice but then i started reading more about him and TOTALLY fell in love with Apolo.And what inspires me most about Apolo...is that he never ever gives up no matter what.He doesnt care what people think.And hes definently faithful about who he is and what he does.Thats the number one reason why i like Apolo Anton Ohno.Congrats apolo on winning DWTS and happy birthday!!!!!!
